On January 22, 2019, the Model 3 China Market Delivery Ceremony was officially held at the Tesla Beijing Goldenport Experience Center, marking the official launch of Tesla's strategic model in the Chinese market.

Model 3 is more compact, simpler, and more cost-effective. It is a key step in Tesla's mission to “accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.” It is reported that at present, there are three Model 3 models sold in China: Model 3 high-performance all-wheel drive version, Model 3 long-life all-wheel drive version and Model 3 long-life after-drive version. According to public data, the Model 3 high-performance all-wheel drive version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h and a cruising range of 595 km (China standard). It is worth mentioning that Tesla has also opened up a new delivery model - deliberately at home. That is, when the conditions are met and the two parties agree, the Tesla employees will send the new car directly to the designated pick-up location of the consumer. This delivery method is not only more convenient and efficient, but also provides a more friendly delivery user experience. Since today, Chinese car owners can choose the "deliberate home" delivery model to receive their own Model 3. According to reports, as of now, Tesla's charging network has covered more than 170 cities in mainland China. The number of super-charged piles has exceeded 1,500, with more than 1,850 destination charging piles, layout of core business districts, hotels, scenic spots, and characteristic self-driving. Lines and other popular areas that carry users' leisure life provide users with a convenient charging experience.
